John B. Phillips
John B. Phillips is a Deputy General Counsel with Coca-Cola Enterprises and also of counsel with the law firm of Miller & Martin. In addition to defending employers against lawsuits, he is in constant demand for on-site employment law training and risk assessment.

Michael McCourt
As president of Michael G. With more than 30 years of research and consulting work to his credit, Mel Kleiman, CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) is an internationally-recognized authority on recruiting, selecting, and retaining employees. As president of the Houston-based Humetrics, Inc., he has solved hiring challenges for world-class organizations, trade associations, and many smaller regional businesses, including Dominos Pizza, Phillips 66, Time Warner, the Food Marketing Institute, the National Restaurant Association, and the National Association of Convenience Stores.

Carlos Conejo
Carlos Conejo is President of Multicultural Associates, a management consultancy that specializes in workforce development for multicultural organizations. He has worked with a diverse client base, including major health care organizations, the Armed Forces, automotive and travel industries.
Carlos has been lecturing and consulting internationally on management and supervision, coaching and multicultural issues in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom. He has conducted nationwide training seminars on demographics management and diversity and has been trained in demographics, workplace coaching and leadership development. He has also been named one of the top U.S. Hispanic speakers by the independent firm Market Data. Alicia Mandel
Alicia Mandel is the Director of Learning and Leadership Development for the United States Olympic Committee. In this role, she is responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing a comprehensive leadership curriculum for the USOC and the National Governing Bodies, along with overseeing an innovative career development and succession planning program. In addition, Mandel coordinates the development, the vision, and the strategic plan for the USOC's Olympic University, which aims to provide learning to multiple constituencies – employees, leaders, coaches, athletes, corporations, and non-profits. She is also responsible for overseeing a technical skills training program for the 400-plus USOC employees.
Prior to joining the USOC, Mandel was the Director of Leadership Development for Asurion, Inc. in Nashville, Tennessee. With more than 5,000 employees, Asurion is the largest provider of wireless insurance and the fourth largest wireless repair center in the U.S. In her role for Asurion, Mandel focused on building, implementing, and managing change associated with leadership infrastructure, as well as corporate leadership education.
Mandel spent 10 years in the Human Resources division of American Express. From 1993-2003, Mandel was the Director of Employee Engagement for the company. She was responsible for developing strategies to drive business performance through such areas as change management, employee retention, orientation and on-boarding, and integration of work/life initiatives. Mandel was also the Director of Business Consultant Learning and Development from 1995-2002, where she consulted American Express employees and leaders in such areas as organizational development, performance support, employee engagement, and leadership development.
Claudia Schwartz
Cláudia Schwartz, has over twenty-five years of experience in human resources management with multi-industry companies of up to 10,000 employees. Cláudia has established and managed HR departments at both large and developing companies. Cláudia has been the HR consultant appointed by the courts to implement one of the largest sexual harassment /discrimination EEOC Consent Decrees in history.
Her twenty-five-year experience in investigations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation complaints has made Cláudia an objective and solutions-oriented investigator, expert witness, and harassment prevention trainer. Cláudia’s work with senior executives and boards of directors ranges from liability prevention to leadership development and organizational effectiveness. Don Ranly
Don Ranly, Ph.D., is professor emeritus of the Missouri School of Journalism where he taught for 32 years and was head of the magazine program for 28 years. He has an M.A. in journalism and an M.A. in speech from Marquette University, a certificate in film, radio and television from New York University and a doctorate in journalism from the University of Missouri.
Dr. Ranly worked as a newspaper reporter, a magazine editor, a weekly columnist, a radio host and a television producer, director and host. An author of articles and books on writing and editing, he has conducted more than 1,000 seminars for individual newspapers and magazines, corporations, associations and organizations of all kinds.
He is co-author of News Reporting and Writing (8th ed.), Telling the Story: The convergence of Print, Broadcast and Online Media (2nd ed.) and Beyond the Inverted Pyramid (all with Bedford/St. Martin's) and author of Publication Editing (Kendall/Hunt). He has compiled a book of readings The Principles of American Journalism (Kendall/Hunt). In addition to teaching writing, editing and publishing courses at the Missouri School of Journalism, his academic areas included the principles and ethics of American journalism and General-Semantics.
Shel Holtz
For almost 30 years, Shel Holtz has helped organizations like Intel, Sears, Disney, FedEx, The World Bank, National Geographic, The American Red Cross, General Mills, PepsiCo, Aetna, and John Deere use new technologies to solve strategic issues and challenges. An Accredited Business Communicator (ABC), Shel is considered the leading expert in effectively communicating in today's online world.

Wilma Mathews
A sought-after international speaker, Wilma K.
