HR Hero Audio Conference on CD and Streaming Audio
Adria B. Martinelli
December 2, 2009
With each CD purchase, you get FREE access to streaming audio. CD and streaming audio are available 3 days after each live event.
Even though the live seminar on this topic has already taken place, you can still hear it! For your convenience, we've recorded it on CD and audio stream, so you can listen when you have time or share it with colleagues in your organization.
According to The Economist there are approximately 37,000 centenarians living in the U.S. As the life expectancy of Americans continues to increase, so does the odds your employees will soon be caring for an elderly family member with some form of dementia.
The EEOC recommends work-life balance programs, flexible work arrangements, flexible sick leave policies, and part-time job opportunities to prevent discrimination lawsuits from caregiver employees.
Learn how to accommodate affected employees while complying with the newly-amended FMLA and ADA by participating in the all-new HR Hero audio conference, Dealing with Dementia in the Workplace: When Employee Caregivers Bring Their Burdens to Work.
YOUR AGENDA

- Sample HR policies that can reduce the burden for your caregiver employees
- The effect caregivers have on the workplace in terms of lost productivity and the effect on co-workers
- What savvy employers are doing to minimize the problem of distracted and absent employees with caregiving responsibilities

- Laws providing caregiver rights and how the new FMLA, ADA, and other laws come into play
