Do your top managers understand the importance of values in the workplace? Are they aware of the legal and financial benefits of implementing ethical standards in your organization? Do they know when to seek HR and In-House Counsel's buy-in for making legally-sound ethical decisions?

Learn how to guide your top executives through the difficult conversations that MUST take place to keep your company on solid legal footing by participating in this all-new audio conference for in-house counsel and HR professionals.

To make effective, ethical decisions, your organization's leaders have to comprehend ambiguous information and ask the right questions before taking action. Management doesn't always have the benefit of hindsight and the last thing you want the boss to say is, "We don't have time to figure out a better way, so do it this way now."

When you participate in this HR Hero live event, you'll discover hands-on, concrete communication techniques for teaching top management to do the right thing. In just 90 minutes, you'll learn how to help your leaders to:

  • Use the "reverse engineering" questions to resolve difficult situations before mistakes are made
  • Conversations your managers can use to turn an uncomfortable dilemma into a positive situation
  • Why you just can't tell your top executives, "That's illegal. You can't do that!"
  • How to coach top management through the pitfalls that can result from a specific action
  • Techniques for gathering information that leads to smart decisions
  • Why HR and in-house counsel are in the best position to help management make ethical choices
  • Ethical issues that commonly come up when conducting an internal investigation
  • And there's so much more...

This is the event Mr. Maslanka presented to enthusiastic acclaim at the 2007 Advanced Employment Issues Symposium. The response?

"Great stories and practical tips. Terrific presentation."

"Excellent, just what I need before I go back to the office next week. Thank you Mike!"

"Outstanding! Many organizations and managers focus on legal issues and forget the importance of communication, both for employees and in litigation preparation." -- Terry Young, Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, Phoenix, AZ
