Did you know that 1 out of 5 employees aged 18 to 25 abuse drugs on while on the job?
And 1 out of 8 employees ages 26 to 34 admit to working while taking drugs, according to a SHRM research report.
Substance abuse in the workplace costs American employers more than $100 billion every year.
This productivity-killer is a common culprit behind employee turnover, disciplinary problems, and absenteeism. The bill for hangover-related absenteeism is $148 million annually. That's $2000 per working adult!
Don't let substance abuse wreak havoc on your organization's bottom line. Learn how to identify and address workplace drug abuse by participating in the all-new HR Hero audio conference, Substance Abuse's Escalating Cost: How HR Can Spot, React, and Control It.
