According to industry experts, employees vote for unions based on their relationships with their frontline supervisors. Training your supervisors to improve their communication skills can prevent union campaigns down the road. If the lines of communication break down, your management could be deemed "unfair" by employees, and your workplace could be ripe for union organization.

Learn how to train your managers to keep an open door and create a positive, union-free environment by participating in the all-new HR Hero Audio Conference:

Train Your Supervisors to Keep Unions at Bay

Get tips and techniques from an experienced labor and employment law attorney on how to open the lines of communication between supervisors and employees, and how to make management aware of its key role regarding union organization.

You'll also learn:

  • Methods HR can use to make supervisors aware of their role and its importance
  • Communication techniques for improving the supervisor-employee relationship
    • Message boards versus suggestion boxes
