William W. Bowser, partner in the Employment Law Department of the firm, has represented both private and public employers on a full range of labor and employment matters for over 20 years. Boswer defends employers in employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and "whistleblower" lawsuits in state and federal courts. He has vast experience in representing employers in collective bargaining and administrative proceedings before the NLRB, EEOC, the Delaware Department of Labor, and other government agencies. He assists employers on avoiding litigation by developing effective employee handbooks, policies, and procedures, and he provides training to in-house counsel, human resource professionals, supervisors, and employees. Scott Holt is a partner at Young Conaway's Employment Law Department and practices in the Wilmington, Delaware office. Scott advises employers on various issues, including discrimination and harassment claims; employee terminations; trade secrets and noncompetition agreements; hiring practices; wage and hour payment and compliance; and labor relations. He regularly assists employers responding to agency investigations and represents employers in employment and other lawsuits at state and federal levels. In addition, Scott often works with clients and the firm's corporate and bankruptcy sections to address labor and employment issues that arise in the context of purchases, sales, mergers, layoffs, and shutdowns. Adria B. Martinelli is a senior associate in the Employment Law Section of Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP and practices in the firm's Wilmington office. She counsels and represents employers and management on a wide range of labor and employment matters. She specializes in the defense of employment discrimination lawsuits, including Title VII, ADEA, ADA, and retaliation. Her litigation experience includes state and federal lawsuits, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings involving discrimination and harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and common law claims. In addition, Adria counsels employers on a broad spectrum of employment-related topics such as employee discipline and termination; internal complaints and investigations; employee leaves of absence and absenteeism; and employment applications, policies, and handbooks.

Adria is also a regular speaker on employment-related topics, including
pregnancy and family responsibility discrimination. She trains individual employers in various areas of employment law, including sexual harassment, performance evaluations and documentation, and exceptions to at-will employment. Prior to joining Young Conaway, she was an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of the national firm of Seyfarth Shaw.
