Stop Sexual Harassment
A complete training package on DVD, VHS, and CD-ROM
Preventing sexual harassment is a crucial duty for supervisors. Employers want to train supervisors about this important topic. But how can the typical HR professional or trainer conduct training like this without a huge amount of preparation?
The answer is Stop Sexual Harassment: Interactive Training for Supervisors This complete training program gives you everything you need to conduct training that's authoritative and attention-grabbing - on DVD, VHS, or computer.
Stop Sexual Harassment makes it easy for you to lead a thorough, two-hour training session for a roomful of supervisors. Or you can use the individual, self-guided version of the video to have one supervisor train himself - whether it's a newly promoted supervisor or one who has committed inappropriate behavior.

Then you may be required by law to give two hours of harassment training to all of your supervisors in California. In that case, you'd need the California Edition of this video training program.

Stop Sexual Harassment is a complete turnkey training program that includes everything you need to train your organization's supervisors to prevent sexual harassment. You get a classroom version of the video to let you train a roomful of supervisors and an individual version so one supervisor can train himself on a computer.
Classroom training
Stop Sexual Harassment includes all of these tools so you can easily train a roomful of supervisors:
- 90-minute video on both DVD and VHS. This entertaining and educational video containing fast-paced vignettes and concise commentary from leading experts. The video includes frequent discussion breaks.
- Trainer's Manual. This booklet arms you to lead discussions, with questions, handouts, and more.
- CD-ROM. This separate disk contains overhead slides, along with a certificate of completion you can customize.
- "Getting Started" guide. These easy-reading instructions help you get on your way.
To conduct classroom training with Stop Sexual Harassment, you only need a DVD or VHS player, a TV, and a knowledgeable person to lead the discussion.
Training an individual supervisor
Stop Sexual Harassment also enables supervisors to self-train on a computer using the individual version of the program. This two-hour program includes interactive quizzes — just pop the DVD into a computer that meets these requirements:
A PC needs a minimum of Pentium III, 128MB RAM, a DVD-ROM drive, and Windows 98, 2000 or XP (NT and Me not supported). Mac requires a DVD-ROM and OS 10.3.
Unlike other training programs, the comprehensive kit is:
- Simple. For you and your staff. You get a complete turnkey training solution, and your organization's supervisors learn through observing re-enactments of common, highly
plausible situations.
- Engaging. Professional actors depict reality-based scenarios from the workplace, not the unrealistic, wooden and often absurd vignettes used in other
programs.
- Authoritative. Each scenario is followed by frank
and easily understood commentary from leading authorities such as employment law attorney Mark Schickman, who has over 20 years of experience defending employers.
- Cost-effective. Train as many supervisors as you
need to for one low price, then as needed as your operation expands and your management team changes. No per-user cost or expensive annual fee. The more you train, the more economical it becomes!
- Convenient. Conduct training as it fits your
organization's schedule, not that of some busy
consultant. And the included self-training program means individual supervisors can train themselves without your direct involvement.

It makes sense. Maybe you've never had a claim of sexual harassment at your organization and figure you can't justify even the modest expense of this training system. Yet you've probably never had a fire at your workplace, so why do you bother with fire insurance?
It's too expensive to ignore. An average of 56 claims of
sexual harassment are filed with the EEOC every day
and the average jury award in harassment cases is $250,000.
