		<description>I agree with Lori Snyder&#039;s comment - I would LOVE to see some information from the other side. When an employee neglects to &quot;ask for&quot; FMLA and it isn&#039;t brought to HR&#039;s attention until a return to work note is received or when they don&#039;t want to use it, for whatever reason. Maybe some information on designating retroactively - there&#039;s not much out there on that. Thanks!</description>

But just once, I&#039;d like to see some stuff written from the opposite viewpoint....I mean, rather than having employees who try to take FMLA leave when they shouldn&#039;t; I have employees (&amp; managers) who don&#039;t want to use it.  They don&#039;t want to burn their paid time, &amp; longstanding attendance policies that treat an absence of whatever length as &quot;one incident&quot; don&#039;t help.  Need printed references from the viewpoint of the employee does not have the choice of FMLA.</description>
