Login help
If you're having trouble logging in to the Subscribers Area of HRhero.com, please check below for possible solutions. If you can't figure it out, contact your customer service representative at (800) 274-6774 or
custserv@mleesmith.com.

  • Employers Forum User Name and Password won't work. If you're like most people, you can't login to the Subscribers Area with your User Name and Password from the Employers Forum discussion board. (Hint: Your User Name for the Subscribers Area is a number, unless you changed it after beginning your Employment Law Letter subscription.)

  • Forgot your User Name and Password? Click here and we'll e-mail it to you if we have your e-mail address on file. Or contact Customer Service.

  • Case Sensitivity: The User ID (User Name) and Password are both case sensitive. Make sure that they are entered in all lowercase letters.

  • Transposing the User ID (User Name) and Password: Your User ID is usually a number. It goes in the first box. Your Password is a word and goes in the second box.

  • Firewall access:
Internet Explorer: When the login screen appears, the line above the User ID (User Name) field should say "Resource:" or "Realm:" followed by the phrase "HRhero.com". If it is not, the login dialog box is probably the firewall or proxy server at your business asking for an additional ID and password. Contact your MIS or IT department, explain to them what the Realm line says, and they should be able to give you the appropriate User ID and Password for your server.

Netscape Navigator: When the login screen appears, the phrase above the User ID (User Name) field should be Enter username for HRhero.com at www.mleesmith.com. If it is not, it is probably the firewall or proxy server at your business asking for an additional ID and password. Contact your MIS or IT department, and they should be able to give you the appropriate User ID and Password for your server.

  • Expiration: Your subscription may be expired. If you think this may be true, or if none of the above items fix the problem, please give us a call. We will be happy to assist you in resolving the problem. You can reach us at the number below.
